Many people are aware of the instability in Afghanistan. It is hard to imagine that this country has been suffering for over 40 years. Many Afghans are hard-pressed to remember a time of peace in their homeland. In the midst of all this chaos and hardship. There is currently over 30,000 Afghans living in South Delhi waiting for the U.N. High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR) to resettle them in the western world.
Being able to educate these Afghan youth (ages 12 and over) has given us a great privilege to develop their minds and hearts for a brighter future. BA is also looking to further our program to strategically reach out to these Afghan families to cater to their practical and emotional needs.
Bridges Academy is seeking partnerships to stand with us to serve the next generation of Afghan leaders whom we have the privilege of shaping today.
